The Challenge

Consumables Solutions are a leading name in the agricultural market sector thanks to their ownership of the best-selling dry dairy udder wipe in the UK and Ireland. With over 20 years of sales through this sector, the business has added additional product and categories to their range to service their agricultural customer base. One of these products is the Milkers and Milkers 300 nitrile gloves, products produced exclusively for this sector and which, over many years, have become the market-leading, best-in-market product. During the pandemic, the supply of these two products ceased and so the market was left with a shortage which created a problem. To resolve, Consumables Solutions found ASAP Innovations and, following extensive meetings and discussions, onboarded ASAP’s X-tra X-tended cuff product. Supported with samples, technical data and great commercials, the launch proved to be a real success and much of the agricultural market is converting to this product.


ASAP Innovations are a leading manufacturer of disposable gloves with over 8,000 employees globally. By owning their own manufacturing sites, ASAP Innovations are in far greater control of their supply chains and their cost base than most. With a desire to enter in to the UK market, the partnership formed with Consumables Solutions has proven of real strategic value to both businesses.
